Summary
CJC-1295 without DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) is a tetra-substituted analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) with a half-life of approximately 30 minutes. It stimulates pulsatile GH release and is frequently co-administered with a GHRP (like Ipamorelin) to amplify the GH pulse.
Your pituitary gland naturally releases growth hormone in pulses throughout the day, with the biggest pulse during deep sleep. CJC-1295 (no DAC) sends a short signal to the pituitary to fire one of those pulses — and because it's short-acting, the pattern stays natural rather than being forced on continuously. Almost always paired with Ipamorelin, which hits the same target via a different receptor, doubling the signal.
Mechanism of Action↓
Agonizes the GHRH receptor (GHRHR) on pituitary somatotrophs, stimulating synthesis and pulsatile release of growth hormone. The no-DAC form mimics natural pulsatile GH release, which is considered more physiological than tonic release.
Half-life: ~30 minutes (no DAC) — contrasts with CJC-1295 with DAC (~7–8 days)
Research Dosing Ranges↓
100–300 µg per injection
2–3× daily, typically co-administered with Ipamorelin
Administer on an empty stomach before sleep for optimal GH pulsation.
Reconstitution Guidance↓
BAC water: 3 mL
Resulting concentration: 1.67 mg/mL (for 5 mg vial)
Add 3 mL BAC water to 5 mg vial → 1.67 mg/mL. 100 µg dose = 60 µL = ~6 units U-100.
Storage & Stability↓
Refrigerate lyophilized and reconstituted. Use reconstituted within 28 days.
Known Side Effects / Contraindications↓
Water retention, numbness/tingling, fatigue, flushing, headache — typical GH-related effects. Injection site reactions.

Concentration: 5 mg ÷ 3 mL = 1.67 mg/mL (1667 µg/mL)
Dose needed: 200 µg = 0.2000 mg
Volume per dose: 0.2000 mg ÷ 1.67 mg/mL = 0.1200 mL
On U-100 syringe: 120.0 µL = 12.0 units
Total doses in vial: 5 mg ÷ 0.2000 mg = 25.0 doses
